Generally it was beautiful and modern apartment, everything was excellent. All the facilities were excellent, and if you need there's free parking nearby. Location was amazing and tranquil, close to rather grand manor house, and Edinburgh...
Can’t think of anything. It met the criteria.

We stayed at a beautiful apartment in a scenic setting with ample grounds to explore. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a thoughtful welcome pack upon arrival. Every room was spotlessly clean, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, including a deer, from our window. It was a wonderful and relaxing few days away.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The house was absolutely stunning, nestled in its own grounds with plenty of outdoor space for playing and exploring. the fire pit was a great addition for cozying up on cool evenings. Inside, the house had a lovely social kitchen and a cozy living room, perfect for spending quality time with family or friends. the welcome food pack was a thoughtful touch, making us feel instantly at home.
There was only one toilet for a group of six, which could be a little tricky at times. the taxi fare to Duns was a bit pricey at £20 each way, making it less convenient for those wanting to explore the town without a car.

We had an amazing time at this lovely place! Great value for money with a cosy yet elegant room that was super clean. The location was perfect, feeling remote and peaceful but still close enough to explore nearby towns and the breathtaking beach. Anne gave us a warm welcome and the best welcome pack ever!
Hotel breakfast could use some improvement with more options.

I had the most wonderful stay at a lovely, homely, and comfortable property. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Anne, the host, had thought of everything to make my stay perfect. The welcome pack provided was so thoughtful, and I truly felt at home during my week-long stay. The property itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I could ask for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the cozy living room was the perfect place to relax after a long day. Additionally, the location of the property was ideal for me, as it offered tranquility and remoteness while still being within driving distance of nearby towns. I loved being able to explore the beautiful countryside right from the doorstep. The highlight of my stay was getting to watch wildlife, including deer, in the surrounding area. my time at Blanerne House was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable, and I will definitely be recommending it to others.
I will say, the only small drawback was that there was no back door leading to the outside seating and garden. It would have been even more convenient to have direct access to the kitchen while enjoying the sunshine.
